excellent exactly what I was looking for! A reset all to default (0) button or preset would be a great addition. Although it's easy enough to add this preset manually.

Hello, thanks for this eq. Unfortunately, I can’t use it. I’m new to Ubuntu, so I’m not sure if I did the correct thing. I downloaded the .tar file to my desktop and followed your instruct. But when I open Rhytmbox -> Pugins - Rhytmbox Equalizer, this message shown: "Unable to activate plugin Rhythmbox Equalizer"

I'm reinstall it, this message shown :
roz@Roz-laptop:~/Desktop$ sudo tar -xvzf rbeq-1.4.tar.gz -C ~/.gnome2
rhythmbox/plugins/rbeq/rbeq_ui.xml
rhythmbox/plugins/rbeq/rbeq.rb-plugin
rhythmbox/plugins/rbeq/COPYING
tar: Skipping to next header

gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: Child returned status 1
tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors

Do you have any suggestions? Many thanks! -Roz

I'm using 10.4 and I had a problem with Rythmbox not having an EQ on karmic. But my problem is that I don't see a download file when I click on the link and when I try the use the command line it gives me a list of error messages. I have tried the older one also with the same problems. If you can please make a detailed walk through I would appreciate it. Just email me please.

This is extremely great. But why don't you provide more good presets by default?

Hey, really great work. My 2 cents:

When I put a list of presets saving, they get pretty disorganized (don't understand why)... Even if I manually edit the ~/.gnome2/rhythmbox/plugins/rbeq/presets , it seems to shuffle again :-/

Also, as the list grows, it tends to add invalid spaces in the top.

As it never "remembers" the last selection, resetting to FLAT (only on the list, of course the audio remains adjusted)

I which I could help more

Here is the list I am using in my presets file, feel free to redistribute or edit as you please:
